Active Investing
The aim of an active investment approach is to outperform a particular benchmark or index by identifying and picking opportunities. The Investor will try to identify opportunities where they believe an investment is undervalued, offering potential for growth. Similarly, they will exit investments that they believe are overvalued or offer little opportunity for additional growth. An active investor will seek to take advantage of short-term volatility in the price of a stock or bond.
