Annual Report

A company’s annual report is arguably its most important document. Public companies are legally required to publish annual reports, which contain audited financial statements – Income Statement (Profit & Loss Account), Balance Sheet (Statement of Financial Position), Movement in Equity and the Cash Flow Statement - all of which are prepared following required accounting standards. The report also provides narratives from the chairman of the board and chief executive summarising the company’s key developments over the past year, noteworthy events, their summation of the economic or industry sector, and an outlook.
