Bookrunner

A bookrunner is a primary underwriter or lead co-ordinator in the issuance of new syndicated equity or debt. The bookrunner is the lead underwriting firm (usually part of a bookrunning group of firms) that co-ordinates order books, assesses depth of demand and quality of bids and sets the final price.
