Capital Markets

A forum for price discovery where parties with excess capital (lenders) transact with parties in need of capital (borrowers). Capital markets cover securities markets (equity and debt markets) as well as markets for other financial products such as foreign exchange and derivatives. The terms “capital market” and “financial market” are often used interchangeably.
