Carbon Footprint

A carbon footprint is the total amount of greenhouse gas emissions caused by an individual, organisation, event, product, service, or other specific source, usually expressed in equivalent tons of carbon dioxide (CO2e). It is a measure of the impact of human activities on climate change and can be used to identify opportunities for emission reduction in a range of different areas.
