A company’s chief technical officer (CTO), is the most senior executive with responsibility for managing technology-related and technical issues. This includes managing the day-to-day IT function but these days is more closely aligned with core strategic issues such as designing, executing, managing and maintaining an organisation’s back-to-front technology infrastructure.
