Exploration & Production (E&P)

Exploration & Production (E&P) is used in the oil and gas industry to refer to upstream activities i.e. searching for and finding energy sources, testing, setting up wells, drilling and extracting. Upstream activity shifts to midstream and downstream activities (storage, transportation and refining).
