Food Insecurity

Food insecurity is defined by the United States Department of Agriculture as a situation of "limited or uncertain availability of nutritionally adequate and safe foods or limited or uncertain ability to acquire acceptable foods in a socially acceptable way". According to Action Against Hunger 1 in 9 people around the world are hungry and undernourished and over 2 billion people did not have access to enough safe and nutritious food in 2020.
