Four Asian Tigers

The Four Asian Tigers is the name given to the economies of Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan, all of which underwent rapid economic transformation from the 1960s into the high-income economies of today. Hong Kong and Singapore have become major entrepôt trading economies and international financial centres; Taiwan and South Korea became global manufacturing centres.
