The FTSE 100 is the best known and most widely followed UK equity index. Its constituents are the largest 100 London-listed companies by market capitalisation. The index is capitalisation-weighted and updated quarterly. The index is managed by FTSE Russell, part of the London Stock Exchange Group and a global provider of benchmarks, analytics, and data solutions.
