Gilts

UK Gilts are Sterling-denominated UK government bonds issued by HM Treasury (via the Debt Management Office, “DMO”) and listed on the London Stock Exchange. The market is split into conventional and index-linked securities, the former accounting for roughly 75% of outstanding bonds.
