Globalisation

Globalisation refers to a world order in which the markets for goods and service are fully globalised. Global markets are financed by a banking and financial services sector that similarly operates in a globally interconnected fashion, serving multinational corporations that operate complex global supply chains. The process of globalisation was facilitated by free trade and by global deregulation, which gave rise to global mobility – mobility of capital, labour, production and distribution.
