Green Fund

A green fund is a collective investment scheme (equity or bond) that screens its investments and portfolios for companies that meet specific environmental, social and governance (ESG) requirements. Beneath the ESG umbrella, there are a number of sub-themes and sectors green funds can focus on, including renewable energy, energy efficiency, climate-change adaptation, sustainable housing, sustainable agriculture and aquaculture, biodiversity, pollution control, clean mass-transportation, the circular economy, water usage and waste-management.
