Guaranteed Bond
A guaranteed bond is one that, depending on the specifics of the guarantee arrangement, is guaranteed as to some or all of the coupon payments and repayment of principal by a third-party. The third-party guarantor can be an insurance company, a bank, or an entity or subsidiary of the bond issuer.
