Headhunter

A head hunter is a person or firm hired to recruit for senior and/or specialised professional job roles. Because headhunters approach and actively seek to entice candidates out of similar roles at competing firms, hiring firms will typically use headhunters rather than in-house hiring managers. Roles given out to headhunters will not always be advertised, and hiring firms may have specific candidates in mind.
