Lease

A lease is a contractual arrangement between two parties, where one party has the right to use an asset owned by the other party, in return for payment of rent over a specified term. For example, a company may lease an office building rather than buy it outright; Airline companies may lease some aircrafts from the lessors (owners). A lease could also be for relatively low value items such as laptops, furniture and photocopiers.
