Long-Term Debt
In accounting, long-term debt is classified as debt with a maturity of more than one year. Although the long-term debt is presented as part of non-current liabilities, the short-term portion of the long-term debt i.e. amounts payable in the next 12 months is presented as part of current liabilities.
