Midstream Oil Operations

In the oil and gas industry, operations are split into upstream, midstream and downstream. Upstream activities include exploration and production, the drilling and operation of the wells; midstream covers are activities such as the pipelines and the transmission of energy from the wells, the storage, treatment and processing of raw product. Downstream activities cover distribution of energy to homes and businesses as well as the operation of power plants.
