Money Market

Money markets is an umbrella term to describe a wide range of short-term debt instruments, from overnight instruments (i.e. those that mature in one day) to those with a one-year life. They are seen as generally safe low-volatility investments for lenders and investors, and low-cost short-term funding options for borrowers.
