Net Debt Per Capita

Net Debt Per Capita

Net debt per capita is a measure used by economists and analysts. It refers to the value of a government’s short-term and long-term debt (both domestic and external debt) minus cash and liquid assets divided by the size of the population. It is seen as a more useful measure of indebtedness for comparison purposes than gross debt loads.
