Glossary

Ocean Energy

Ocean energy is a renewable energy source that harnesses the power of the ocean's waves, tides, currents, or temperature and salinity differences to generate electricity. Although not yet fully developed or implemented around the world, it offers us a reliable, low-carbon alternative to fossil fuels, with the potential to make a significant contribution to global energy use and demand, as well as to greatly reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
