Physical Capital

Physical Capital

Physical capital refers to the totality of items (e.g. offices and warehouses, ports and transportation, machinery and equipment) that are manipulated by human capital and enabled by financial capital to create produced capital, using natural capital (land, natural resources) as the transformative basis. Physical capital has sustained value since it is re-usable i.e. it is not consumed during the production process.
