Price-to-Sales (P/S)

A company’s price-to-sales ratio is another tool used by analysts to gauge comparative company valuations based on how much revenue is assigned to each share. It is calculated by dividing the company’s market capitalisation (share price x number of shares) by annual revenues, or by dividing the share price by sales per share.
