Realised Yield

A realized yield is the yield, or return, an investor or trader actually earns, or realises, usually annualised. Overall return is a function of any profit or loss realised on the exit price of the investment against the entry price plus any capital distributions made during the period under review, such as coupon payments on bonds or dividend payments on equities.
