Stock Split

A stock split involves the division of a company’s shares into two or more new shares. Splits rlower high stock unit prices. If a company with each share trading at USD30 does a 1-for-3 stock split, the price of the shares adjusts to USD10 and each shareholder receives three times as many shares. The market capitalisation of the company remains the same.
