Sustainability

Sustainability is not just about reducing carbon emissions at the level of companies and countries to reduce climate-change. While that is a vital part of the sustainability story, in a more holistic definition, economic sustainability is about transforming the way business is conducted and the way people live and consume such that long-term economic growth is sustained but in a sustainable way i.e. respecting socio-cultural aspects and the wellbeing, dignity and quality of life of the current populace and of future generations, including raising the standards of living of the most disadvantaged segments of society.
