Tax Free

Tax free refers to certain types of goods and financial securities (such as municipal bonds) that are not taxed. The tax free status of these goods, investments, and income may incentivize individuals and business entities to increase spending or investing, resulting in economic stimulus. Tax free refers to any exemption from tax liability on goods and services and on certain financial transactions. Interest payments on Eurobonds, for example, have traditionally been withholding tax-free for non-resident buyers (of the issuer), as have interest payments on certain US municipal bonds
