Yuppie

Yuppie, a Young Urban Professional or Young Upwardly-mobile Professional was a term coined in the early 1980s that has long fallen out of common usage. It described young professionals typically with university degrees working in urban environments in professional careers in everything from banking, law, accounting, consultancy and the medical profession to media and advertising.
