Flow of Funds

Flow-of-funds analysis tracks financial flows between the different sectors in the economy of a country. Flow-of-funds data provides comprehensive and consistent macro-financial information for all sectors in an economy, offering policymakers an indication of how the economic behaviour of sectors might be affected and how that, in turn, might impact aggregate demand. The analysis can be used in the formation of fiscal and monetary policy.
