Impact investing

Impact investing combines financial returns with social and environmental impact across a wide range of sub-themes, including climate-change mitigation and environmental protection, quality education, gender equality, sustainable agriculture, food security and an end to hunger, access to clean water and sanitation, clean affordable energy, sustainable oceans and others. Impact investing involves measurement, disclosure and reporting of impacts, and applies to equity and fixed-income investing as well as venture capital investing.
